Overview
Find Myself ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI-guided Human Design self-discovery experience — including chart generation, AI chat, and I Ching Tarot readings — at findmyself.ai. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
By using Find Myself, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — your name, email address, and, if you sign in with Google, your Google profile photo. You can create an account with Google sign-in, an email magic link, or an email and password, via Supabase Authentication.
- Birth details — the birth date, birth time, and birth location you enter to generate a Human Design chart. These are used to calculate your BodyGraph (type, strategy, authority, profile, defined centers, and related chart data).
- Chart and reading data — the Human Design chart we calculate for you, and any I Ching Tarot readings you generate, including the question or category you submit.
- Chat messages — questions and messages you send to our AI chat features, and the AI's responses, so we can maintain your conversation history.
- Payment information — if you purchase tokens, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and update your token balance, but we do not receive or store your full card number.
- Usage and device data — a first-party cookie remembers your language preference (English or Traditional Chinese), and a device-identifier cookie helps prevent misuse of one-time free token grants. We also collect aggregate usage analytics as described under "Cookies & Analytics" below.
How We Use Your Information
- To calculate and display your Human Design chart and I Ching Tarot readings.
- To operate your account — signing you in, remembering your saved chart, and tracking your token balance.
- To generate AI chat responses to the questions you ask, using your chart data as context so responses are relevant to your design.
- To process token purchases and maintain accurate records of your balance and transaction history.
- To understand how the app is used in aggregate, so we can fix problems and improve the product.
- To prevent abuse, such as repeated free-token claims from the same device.
How Your Information Is Stored
Your account, chart, and chat data are stored in a Supabase-hosted database. Supabase provides authentication and database hosting for the app.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third Parties We Share Information With
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting for your account, chart, and chat history.
- Stripe — payment processing for token purchases. Stripe handles your payment details directly; we do not see or store your full card number.
- Google (Analytics 4, deployed via Google Tag Manager) — aggregate usage analytics that help us understand how the app is used.
- AI service providers — questions and messages you submit to our chat features are sent to our backend service, which may use third-party AI/language-model providers to generate a response.
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Cookies & Analytics
We use a small number of cookies: an authentication session cookie (set by Supabase) that keeps you signed in, a language-preference cookie so the site remembers whether you prefer English or Traditional Chinese, and a device-identifier cookie used to help prevent repeated claiming of free starter tokens.
We also use Google Tag Manager to deploy Google Analytics 4, which sets its own cookies to measure page views and feature usage in aggregate. You can limit Google Analytics tracking using your browser's cookie settings or a browser extension such as Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
AI Chat & I Ching Tarot Features
When you ask a question in our AI chat or I Ching Tarot features, your message (and relevant chart context) is sent to our backend service to generate a response. Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information — such as financial account numbers, government ID numbers, or health details — in your questions, since this content is processed to generate your reading.
Responses are generated by AI and are intended for self-reflection and entertainment. See our Terms of Service for the limits of these features.
Data Retention
We retain your account, chart, and chat data for as long as your account is active, so you can return to your saved chart and conversation history. If you delete your account, we delete your profile, saved charts, and chat history from our database, as described below.
Your Rights & Choices
- Access and update — you can view and update your saved birth details and chart from your Profile page while signed in.
- Delete your account — you can permanently delete your account, saved chart, and chat history from your Profile page. This removes your data from our database and cannot be undone.
- Opt out of analytics — you can limit Google Analytics cookies in your browser, as described under "Cookies & Analytics" above.
- Contact us — for any other request about your personal information, including a request to access or export your data, contact us using the details under "Contact Us" below.
Children's Privacy
Find Myself is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Find Myself after a change means you accept the updated policy.
